CEIS – job vacancies
CEIS currently has two staff positions available. Applications are invited from committed Christians willing to lead and deliver Christian education sessions in ACT public schools (under current legislation). Desirable skills and experience include teaching or children’s ministry and at least some of a combination of teamwork, IT, accounts, public relations, administration, fundraising and communication. Both positions will involve liaison with schools, parents, churches and CEIS volunteers in conjunction with some associated administrative work.
One position is intended to include a management role as CEIS Coordinator, should a suitable candidate demonstrate the required skill-set. This could include skills/experience in areas such as staff management, strategic planning, public relations and liaison at Board, Council and Directorate levels. The other position is CEIS Network Leader.
Hours of work for both positions are expected to be at least 10 hours per week up to 25 hours per week depending on overall staff configuration during 2019-2020 and beyond.

Applications based on selection criteria close Friday 31st May and must include names and contact details of three referees, one being the current minister (or equivalent) of the applicant’s church.
Resource Making Days
CEIS has a resource-making day once per term to prepare the various items for the upcoming session. This is a fun way to support CEIS with no special skills required.
Come along to the CEIS office (82 Limestone Ave AINSLIE – access car park via Grimes St) and join in with cutting, laminating, gluing or similar (all will be explained). Great conversation, snacks and a cuppa also provided.

- Term 1: Tuesday March 12 (1.15pm – 4.15pm)
- Term 2: Friday May 31 (9.30am – 1.00pm)
- Term 3: Friday August 23 (9.30am – 1.00pm)
- Term 4: Friday November 15 (9.30am – 1.00pm)
